How Do I Offer My Condo For Rent? | REALTOR.com? Blogs

questions

Q: Hi, I have a condo in San Bernardino , CA. Right now I am not in US. How can I put it for rent? I have recent photos of the property, and one of my acquaintances who lives in the next condo (which I have its ownership too) can provide access to the condo. The last question, what is the best safe and economic way to do that?

Thanks in advance.
?Hani, San Bernardino, CA

A: I suggest you hire a trustworthy real estate agents who works with leases ON A REGULAR BASIS. Not every agent does. The going rate is 6% of the first year?s rent amount. Let?s say your condo rents for $ 1200 per month. That?s $ 14,400 per year at 6%. Cost to you is $ 864. For that, the agent will screen your applicants and prepare the legal contract.
